Allene Marie Mauldin Clifton, 83, of Greenbrier went to be with the Lord, Wednesday September 25, 2019. She was born March 5, 1936 in Greenbrier, AR to Clyde and Ethel Mauldin. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Leonard Clifton, sister, Clydene Snow Cheney and her parents.
Allene graduated from Greenbrier High School and she worked for International Shoe Factory. She worked as a Administrative Assisitant for Greenbrier Schools earning many awards and was ''The Citizen Of the Year''.
Allene is survived by her children, Jerry (Christy) Clifton, and Sherri (J.D.) Courtney grandchildren, Jena (Clint) Reekie, Blair Courtney, Bethany Courtney and her boyfriend, Tyler Duncan, great grandchildren, Annabelle Reekie and Daylynn Reekie, her special friend, Cecil Graham and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Special thanks to the caregivers of Seeds of Love, Domino Players, and Fabulous Friends.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 10:00am at Springhill Baptist Church, in Greenbrier. Visitation will be Friday September 27, 2019 from 6:00pm to 8:00PM at Roller McNutt Funeral Home, Greenbrier. Interment will be in Springhill Cemetery, Greenbrier, AR.

Mrs. Allene was like a second Mom to me for many years in my youth with Church, G.M.A’s and many other Activities, and with Sherry being one of my Best Friends and neighbor growing up. Mrs. Allene was a Very Special person in my Life. Our prayers for her family during this time.

Allene was one of the sweetest people I have ever known. I have some precious memories from the years I lived across the road from her and her family. My heart is sad that she is not physically here but at the same time my heart is happy knowing that she in Heaven with her Lord and Saviour. Her family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Allene you were the best Aunt a niece could ever ask for. Your wisdom guided me through many rough times. I will always thank God for giving me the best Aunt ever. Jerry and Sherri, you were truly blessed to have such wonderful Christian parents.
