December 30, 1964 - January 3, 2026
Tina Louise Burks, 61, of Greenbrier passed away in her home on Saturday, January 3rd, 2026. She was born on December 30th, 1964, in California, to Martha and Al Schwahn. Tina was a member of Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. She was baptized on April 27th, 2010.
Tina's favorite hobbies/things to do were rocking out to her music blasting! She would have the happiest vibe when she was listening to Def Leppard, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Aerosmith, or Kid Rock. Concerts were certainly her thing to do with her brother and sister-in-law Kristi. She loved to watch movies and had a huge collection of DVDs and VHS Tapes. Tina also loved to go fishing and being a part of our baseball family, hiking with her daughter, buying flowers and feed for all her birds and honeybees. Tina loved feeding her hummingbirds and watching the butterflies that she had during the spring and summer. She loved camping and being with her family and friends. Tina's favorite spot was riding shot gun right next to dad in the ole Chevy. She absolutely loved to travel; it didn't matter where in the world she would end up. Last but not least she always wanted to be around her grandkids.
Tina was preceded in death by her son, Jesse Leroy Burks and her mother Martha Lola Schwahn, father-in-Law, Donnie L. Burks, grandparents, Elmer Leroy Burks and Mildred Olene Burks.
Tina leaves behind her husband Phillip L. Burks of 44 years, daughter, Amanda Leanne (Burks) Eller and son-in-law, James Eller of Vilonia, grand-children, Bradyn Leroy (Burks) Tindall, Ronald Grace Jr, and Colton Eller, father, Aloius Schwahn of Arizona, brother, Thomas Cain and sister-in-law, Kristi Cain.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 6:0-8:00PM at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier. Funeral Service will be 11:00AM on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Quitman, Arkansas with Burial following at Latter Day Saints/Baker Cemetery in Barney, Arkansas.
