of Little Rock, AR
July 26, 1972 - December 11, 2025
Lori Lee Cline, 53, passed peacefully in the early morning hours of December 11, 2025, at home in Little Rock, Arkansas. Lori spent her final days on Earth surrounded by the love of family, friends, neighbors and church family.
Lori grew up in Springhill, LA, where she graduated from Springhill High School in 1990. After graduation, she moved to Conway, Arkansas to attend Central Baptist College, where she was the first female Student Government Association President in school history. It was there that she met her lifetime love, Drew Cline. Lori graduated from CBC in 1992 with an Associate of Arts and went on to earn her bachelor's in communication from the University of Central Arkansas in 1994. She and Drew were married on June 18, 1994.
After college, Lori went on to have a career in Christian radio, broadcasting and the Contemporary Christian Music Industry that spanned nearly 30 years. After they married, she and Drew lived in Central Arkansas, where Lori worked at Little Rock's 107.7 KYTN. In 1996, they moved to Houston, TX, where Lori worked at 89.3 KSBJ and had her own show called "Open Line with Lori Cline."
They made the move to Nashville in 2002, where Lori went to work for Word Records as the Director of National Radio Promotions. She worked with recording artists Randy Travis, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Amy Grant, and others. While in this role, Christian artists Mark Schultz, Aaron Shust, and Building 429 had record-breaking #1 singles.
Lori started her own company, Brighter Promotions, in 2007. But Brighter was only the second most important production of 2007, because in January of that year, Daisy Joy was born. Jovie May then came along in 2010.
From 2011-2013, Lori served as Communication and Member Services Manager for Christian Music Broadcasters. Lori, Drew and the girls moved back to Central Arkansas in 2012. Lori worked at 93.3 The Fish and KVNE in Little Rock, with a radio program on weekdays from 2pm-7pm. She also wrote and filmed devotionals for the Lori Cline Show for Lifeword Broadcast Ministries. Her insightful, uplifting videos accumulated millions of views and were (and still are) a source of encouragement to all who watch them. Lori was a bridge, a connector of people. She never met a stranger and had a way of making each person feel like they were special to her, a quality that came through whether you were with her in person, listening to her on the radio, or watching one of her devotional videos.
Lori was preceded in death by her father, Phillip Norris Carroll, her mother- and father-in-law, Patsy and Don Cline, and a brother-in-law, Dean Cline. Lori is survived by her husband of 31 years, Drew Cline, and her daughters Daisy Joy and Jovie May, of Little Rock; her mother, Mary Nell Lindsey (Duane) of Springhill, LA; her brother, Steven (Donna) of Forney, Texas; her step-mother, Diane Carroll of Springhill, LA, and step-sister, Sara McDaniel of Minden, LA; sister-in-law Donna (Ray) of Maumelle, AR and brother-in-law David (Shelly) of Oklahoma City, and a host of nieces and nephews who love her dearly. She also leaves behind a church family (South City Church), neighbors, and friends near and far.
Lori's great loves were Drew, Daisy and Jovie. To the girls, she was their mama who took thousands of photos of them. She was an animal lover who helped turtles cross the road, who adopted a rescue rabbit from the backyard, and who especially loved the dogs, Roxy and, in their words, ''her fat beagle, Ruby.'' They say that with Lori as their mom, there was never a dull moment. Lori left the best of herself behind in her daughters.
Drew remembers Lori as the most loving, kind and caring person, someone who loved sunsets, laughing, the beach, and shining the love of Jesus to others.
Lori Cline also loved fireworks, which is fitting because she could be described as one: a shiny, sparkly personality who delighted everyone she met. No one wants a fireworks show to end, and that's true for the thousands of people-many she had never met- who prayed for a different outcome for her. But in her final days, though her body was failing, her spirit put on a spectacular grand finale. She knew that her time was short, but she continued encouraging, saying 'I love you,' and most of all, telling everyone about the goodness of God. Lori loved Jesus and wanted everyone to know and love Him, too. She was peaceful, but still fighting for the people she loved to know and trust her Savior. She believed that God was going to bring good from this great sadness. If you're reading this, she would want you to know Him, too. Jesus was faithful to Lori, from the moment she gave her heart to Him until the moment, early on Thursday morning, when He came to bring her Home.
The family will receive guests on Monday, December 15, 2025, between the hours of 6:00pm and 8:00pm, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home. Funeral for Lori will be 10:00am, Tuesday, December 16, 2025, in the worship center of Fellowship Bible Church. Burial will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

I always had a sense of kindness and peace when I saw Lori. God Bless her precious family.

My heart goes out to the family during this time. I am so thankful for the time Drew and Lori were at First Baptist Church, Livingston. Lori was a special person in my daughter, Christina's life and I'm thankful for the time Lori spent with her.

My prayers are with Lori's family.''Trust in the Lord with all your heart…''.

Our sincere and deepest condolences to the Cline family. Praying for your family. ❤️

May God grant strength, peace and His loving presence to the entire family especially Drew , Daisy and Jovie.

I remember Lori as a little piece of energy. I met her when her dad was pastor at Lake Erling Baptist Church. Her family may be mourning her but Jesus and Phillip, int that order, are rejoicing at her homecoming. My prayers are with you all

A very dear friend and classmate who will always be remembered and deeply missed. She encouraged me to be my best at all times and never forget our small town.

Many prayers going up for all of you.

God bless you and your entire family! May God be with all of the family!❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏

Lori was such an encourager. I loved listening to her on KSBJ here in Houston as well as the devotionals she did on Lifeline. I met her a couple of times at different events. She was genuine and just glowed with the love of Jesus. My heart and prayers were with her and her family when she was going through this cancer trial. My continued prayers for Drew, the girls, and her family during the days ahead...until you meet again... (((HUGS))).

So sorry for your loss. Praying for each of you,

Such a beautiful family that will continue being bright and shiny, just as Lori was (and she will remain in my heart as such). I'm eternally grateful we got to pass one another in this life. So much love, Bridget R.

I remember when Lori was born. She was a teeny little thing. As she grew, she became a head full of curls and energy. I first learned of the love of Jesus from her sweet momma, Mrs. Mary Nell. She was blessed to have her, Steven and Bro. C as family. My love and prayers to you all.

Our Father has promised a reunion in Heaven. I envy your destination. Sending lots of love to Drew, your girls and all who love and are missing you. Don't refer to Lori as was because she IS…❣️

Lori Cline had a truly radiant heart and soul. She had the rare ability to change the atmosphere of a room simply by walking into it. Her contagious smile and sparkling eyes spoke volumes quietly conveying her love and genuine care for others without needing to say a word.
The last conversation I shared with Lori was one of encouragement. She urged me to follow through on a project I had been considering, which so perfectly reflected who she was. Lori lived to encourage, to love, to care deeply, and to shine the presence of Jesus through her life.
She will be profoundly missed by all who were blessed to know her. My continued prayers are with Drew and the entire family during this time.

Prayers and hugs from Springhill and FBC. Lori will be greatly missed.

Lori was such a bright light with a mega-watt smile and joy to match. I am beyond honored to have been able to call her a friend. She will always be precious in my heart, and my life was better for having known her. My most sincere prayers for peace are with Drew, Daisy, Jovie, Lori's Mother, and the countless family and friends whose hearts both ache and rejoice that Lori is with Jesus.

Never got to meet Lori, but kept up with her journey through Sara. What a lady! She obviously made a great impact on many people as she let Jesus shine through her life.
Prayers for all the family and friends. May you feel The Father's loving arms around you extra tight during this difficult time.

I wish I had had the privilege of knowing Lori, but having known her sister, Sara, for several years and after reading this, I know that she was a wonderful person. I am praying for each of the family that God will give you the peace and comfort during this time that only He can.

To so many of us who follow Sara's pages, we prayed, trusted God on Lori's behalf, and fully believe He was ready for her to come home.
We celebrate that she is Home!
Still… Jesus wept and so do we. Praying for all of you. 🙏

Lori a childhood friend & sisters In Christ Jesus. Continue praying for Drew and the girls and Steven and Mrs. Mary ❤️

Lori, was my "soul" sister in the truest sense of the word. God brought us together as friends during a very pivotal time in our lives. I'll forever cherish our lunch breaks, prayer times and laugh til you cry moments together. My life is richer... better...blessed because Lori was in it! My prayers are with Drew, Daisy, Jovie and everyone who knew and loved her. '🙏🏽'

I met Lori through our daughters' love of choral music and I am so grateful God allowed our paths to cross. Such a beautiful person, inside and out.
It has been my great pleasure to be a neighbor, friend, and prayer warrior for her. To all the many lives she has touched, we will see her again if we believe Jesus died for our sins. ❤️
