Lori Lee Cline

of Little Rock, AR

July 26, 1972 - December 11, 2025

Lori Lee Cline, 53, passed peacefully in the early morning hours of December 11, 2025, at home in Little Rock, Arkansas. Lori spent her final days on Earth surrounded by the love of family, friends, neighbors and church family.

Lori grew up in Springhill, LA, where she graduated from Springhill High School in 1990. After graduation, she moved to Conway, Arkansas to attend Central Baptist College, where she was the first female Student Government Association President in school history. It was there that she met her lifetime love, Drew Cline. Lori graduated from CBC in 1992 with an Associate of Arts and went on to earn her bachelor's in communication from the University of Central Arkansas in 1994. She and Drew were married on June 18, 1994.

After college, Lori went on to have a career in Christian radio, broadcasting and the Contemporary Christian Music Industry that spanned nearly 30 years. After they married, she and Drew lived in Central Arkansas, where Lori worked at Little Rock's 107.7 KYTN. In 1996, they moved to Houston, TX, where Lori worked at 89.3 KSBJ and had her own show called "Open Line with Lori Cline."
They made the move to Nashville in 2002, where Lori went to work for Word Records as the Director of National Radio Promotions. She worked with recording artists Randy Travis, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Amy Grant, and others. While in this role, Christian artists Mark Schultz, Aaron Shust, and Building 429 had record-breaking #1 singles.

Lori started her own company, Brighter Promotions, in 2007. But Brighter was only the second most important production of 2007, because in January of that year, Daisy Joy was born. Jovie May then came along in 2010.

From 2011-2013, Lori served as Communication and Member Services Manager for Christian Music Broadcasters. Lori, Drew and the girls moved back to Central Arkansas in 2012. Lori worked at 93.3 The Fish and KVNE in Little Rock, with a radio program on weekdays from 2pm-7pm. She also wrote and filmed devotionals for the Lori Cline Show for Lifeword Broadcast Ministries. Her insightful, uplifting videos accumulated millions of views and were (and still are) a source of encouragement to all who watch them. Lori was a bridge, a connector of people. She never met a stranger and had a way of making each person feel like they were special to her, a quality that came through whether you were with her in person, listening to her on the radio, or watching one of her devotional videos.
Lori was preceded in death by her father, Phillip Norris Carroll, her mother- and father-in-law, Patsy and Don Cline, and a brother-in-law, Dean Cline. Lori is survived by her husband of 31 years, Drew Cline, and her daughters Daisy Joy and Jovie May, of Little Rock; her mother, Mary Nell Lindsey (Duane) of Springhill, LA; her brother, Steven (Donna) of Forney, Texas; her step-mother, Diane Carroll of Springhill, LA, and step-sister, Sara McDaniel of Minden, LA; sister-in-law Donna (Ray) of Maumelle, AR and brother-in-law David (Shelly) of Oklahoma City, and a host of nieces and nephews who love her dearly. She also leaves behind a church family (South City Church), neighbors, and friends near and far.

Lori's great loves were Drew, Daisy and Jovie. To the girls, she was their mama who took thousands of photos of them. She was an animal lover who helped turtles cross the road, who adopted a rescue rabbit from the backyard, and who especially loved the dogs, Roxy and, in their words, ''her fat beagle, Ruby.'' They say that with Lori as their mom, there was never a dull moment. Lori left the best of herself behind in her daughters.

Drew remembers Lori as the most loving, kind and caring person, someone who loved sunsets, laughing, the beach, and shining the love of Jesus to others.

Lori Cline also loved fireworks, which is fitting because she could be described as one: a shiny, sparkly personality who delighted everyone she met. No one wants a fireworks show to end, and that's true for the thousands of people-many she had never met- who prayed for a different outcome for her. But in her final days, though her body was failing, her spirit put on a spectacular grand finale. She knew that her time was short, but she continued encouraging, saying 'I love you,' and most of all, telling everyone about the goodness of God. Lori loved Jesus and wanted everyone to know and love Him, too. She was peaceful, but still fighting for the people she loved to know and trust her Savior. She believed that God was going to bring good from this great sadness. If you're reading this, she would want you to know Him, too. Jesus was faithful to Lori, from the moment she gave her heart to Him until the moment, early on Thursday morning, when He came to bring her Home.

The family will receive guests on Monday, December 15, 2025, between the hours of 6:00pm and 8:00pm, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home.
