Stan cherished time with his family and loved the outdoors. His warmth, humor and steadfast devotion to his loved ones will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

My thoughts and prayers go out to your family during this difficult time. I knew Stan from when him and Lisa went to First Lutheran. He was truly a wonderful and caring person who will be miss by all who knew him. Praying that the Lord wraps His arms around you all to give you the comfort only He can give.

Stan was such a kind soul, always ready to dish out a smile or a joke, whatever was needed for the occasion. His FB posts were so funny that I frequently shared with my husband. He will be sorely missed. 😢🙏

I'm going to miss my dear cousin. I was only 3 years old when he was born. This is just way too soon for him to be gone.

Richard and I are holding you all in our hearts. '
We met Stan through Helmich's - we will always remember him as a stand-up guy, dedicated to his customers. He took great care of our cars and our kids' cars and all those we referred to him through the years.
And we miss the funnies he would post on Facebook. Some days he would get on a roll and make us LOL all day!

Christy, I'm so sorry for your family's loss. I'm praying for comfort, strength, and peace for you and your family.

I first met Stan in 1975 at Helmich Mobile Service Station at Kavanaugh and Beechwood. The kindred love of all things automotive had made us friends for the last 50 years. Stan was more a brother to me than my own brother. He will be missed more than loosing my own brother.
Safe passage my friend, and god speed

Kurt and I were saddened to hear of the passing of Stan. He was a good man, always smiling. He will be remembered and missed. Our deepest condolences to his family.

We will always remember Stan as the loving, supportive, and funny man that he was. He loved his family and friends, was an honest and hardworking businessman at Helmich and was dearly loved by all. He will be sorely missed. Rest In peace. Our love and healing hugs to all.

Stan and I were cousins and we both had great memories growing up on lake ouachita what great times they were. RIP My Friend

We live up the alley from Helmich, where we took our cars for maintenance for many years. Gus would also walk down just to visit with Stan. Both Stan and Chris were excellent service people and are greatly missed in the Hillcrest neighborhood.

Stan was always friendly and funny with a great sense of humor. I visited with him often at Helmich automotive in Hillcrest and later at lake Ouachita. My prayers are with Lisa and family!
