George Stanfield ''Stan'' West, age 69, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on October 24, 2025.

Stan was born on October 27, 1955 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He graduated from North Little Rock High School in 1973 and later earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. For three decades, he owned and operated Helmich Auto, the family's longtime neighborhood shop, where his honesty, skill and easygoing nature earned the trust of countless customers and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.N. West and Jane West; his brother, Chris West and his niece, Tera West Williams.

Stan is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Lisa West; his daughters, Jamie Gilmore and Christina Copley; sons-in-law, Dustin Gilmore and Danny Copley and his grandchildren, Noelle Copley, Nicholas Copley, Eli Gilmore and Harrison Gilmore. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Eric West, Jessica Parent, Tom Helmich, Amy Wilson and Missy Cordasco.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at Levy Baptist Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Stan cherished time with his family and loved the outdoors. Some of his happiest moments were spent on Lake Ouachita - laughing as he playfully flung his grandkids off the inner tube behind the boat, much to Lisa's squeals of delight. His warmth, humor and steadfast devotion to his loved ones will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
