Laura Shannon Ballard- Penn, 64, of Quitman, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, October 25, 2025. She was born July 25, 1961, in Grenada, Mississippi to the late Harold and Imogene (Campbell) Penn. Laura was a member of Howard General Baptist Church for over 20 years. She was an avid football fan and loved her MSU Bulldogs, Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs. Laura enjoyed spending time with her family and quilting. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister.
Laura is survived by her husband of 30 years, Donnie Ballard, son, Nicholas Ballard, sisters, Ramona Tyler and Andrea (Gene) Walker.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00PM Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier, Arkansas. Funeral Service will begin on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 11:00PM at Howard General Baptist Church in Quitman, Arkansas. Burial will be at Lancaster Cemetery in Strawberry, Arkansas at 3:00PM.
