Kathryn ''Kathy'' Louise Cheney, 68, of Greenbrier passed away Thursday, September 4, 2025 at UAMS in Little Rock following a long and courageous fight with cancer. She was born July 9, 1957 in Los Angeles, CA to the late Thomas and Patricia (Howard) Cheney.

Kathy was an Army brat and grew up in various places including California and Colorado, graduating from Widefield High School in Security, CO in 1975. She worked in a variety of jobs throughout her life, finally culminating in a successful career as an insurance agent before she became too ill to work. Kathy was a devoted friend and treasured her family.

Kathy is survived by her sons, Cheney Turman of Greenbrier, AR and Samuel Cheney of Conway, AR; daughters, Lisa Turman of Greenbrier, AR and Patricia Turman of Conway, AR; sister, Sandra Richter of Greenbrier, AR; brothers, Randy Cheney of Conway, AR and Mike Cheney of Bend, OR; four grandchildren, Shelby and Hailey Hamilton, Jaxton Turman and Amara Turman; 4 Great-grandchildren, Collins Marsh, Hudson Marsh, KyzerLee David Hamilton & Landry ''LJ'' Lankford of Dickson Tennessee and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier.

She was a great friend, kind soul and yet stubborn, smart and independent !! I loved working with her over many years and being her friend too. We got to go Hawaii together for Insurance meeting/fun and see Collin Raye many times . I will treasure our memories, her friendship and I am so glad she is no longer in pain. Rest well my friend till we meet again..... ( Hug my Jason and Joseph ) Love you and will miss you. Linda
