Mr. Warren will be missed. He was a great teacher. He made biology interesting. Condolences to the family.
Mr. Warrens teaching was always infused with humor. He made you want to come to class. Even sign up for the ones that were probably above where you should have been just so you could have him as a teacher for another year. He touched so many of our lives and will never be forgotten.
Don e Don was my sister's husband and we used to go see them twice or three times a year and do and go to Dogpatch but it existed and have a great time and then on the way back in the dark he's scared the hell out of his driving on the mountain like he was a Race Car Driver I love you he was a great guy I'll miss him I can't come to the funeral because of my own health reasons and my thoughts are always with you and him love both of you
Mr. Don Warren touched many lives; his impact can never be measured, but he instilled a love of science in so many. He will be missed, but his legacy of sharing knowledge and influencing lives will endure. My deepest sympathies go out to his family and friends.
Mr. Warren was a fine a man as I've ever known. One of the best teachers I ever had. More than that he was a great friend. I will miss visiting with him every time I saw him. RIP Mr.Warren you will be truly missed.
Mr Warren, my brother (Mike Herrin), as well as Ronnie Funderberg were all best friends in high school. I was 17 yrs younger than my brother so when I finally made it to his biology class and he found out who I was he never let me live it down. He told a story about my brother bringing me back into the school when mom picked him up to show me off the his friend's. They were on the 2nd floor. Then he smiled real big and said if he knew then what he knew now he would have tossed me down those stairs. He laughed so hard. He was always my favorite teacher. I smile big knowing those 3 guys are reunited again and cutting up and have a big time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
Sending prayers to the family. Don was a wonderful person and teacher. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him

The absolute best biology teacher there ever was! It was such an honor to be his student!
I graduated high school with Don. He was always such a quiet, kind, polite soul. I was so glad when he came to Lamar to teach. Both my kids were blessed to have him as a teacher. I've enjoyed reading the comments from his former students. I sure pray we get more like him in the system. My sincere prayers and thoughts go out to his sweet family.
Mr. Warren was a wonderful, hilarious teacher. He was a great guy, and will be terribly missed.
I'm praying for the Warren family. May God give them all peace, comfort and strength through this time. He was such a brilliant and kind man.
He was my biology teacher but that didn't stop him from showing me and the other students how easily he could do math in his head. He gave us calculators in class to race us and still, we never did beat him even once that I remember. He was a great teacher and a good example for all of us to follow.
I enjoyed teaching with Don for many years. He had such a positive impact on hundreds of students. I loved his dry humor. He was a true gentleman.
Lost a great one. Thank you for the knowledge and wisdom you shared.
Rest in peace Mr. Warren. I learned so much from you. You had the ability to not only spark my interest in biology but encourage me to study. Then when I had the honor to come back to Lamar to teach you were a kind mentor and colleague.
My deepest condolences to the family.
Wish we had time to talk. You were always willing to listen to our crazy problems no matter what they were. You made learning so much fun. My favorite science teacher I ever had. You had all 3 of us Palmer girls and you never tried to compare us to one being better or worse than the other... I'd like to think I was your favorite! Probably not but you will truly be missed.
You were my biology teacher in high school, back when I lived in Arkansas. I had such fond memories of being in your class. You were such an incredible teacher and story teller. My thoughts are with you and your family. Rest in peace Mr. Warren
