Don Eugene Warren, 76, a resident of Lamar passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at home. He was born on August 1, 1949 to the late William Henry and Neola Alma (Crotts) Warren in Clarksville, Arkansas. Don was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Freemason.

Don grew up on a rural farm in the Lutherville community, where he developed his love of nature at an early age through many adventures with his brothers, friends and his loyal beagle. His family later moved to Lamar, where he attended Lamar High School.

Don graduated in 1971 from the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas, where he studied Biology and Education. He began his teaching career at Alma High School before returning to his hometown as a science educator at Lamar High School for over 25 years.

Don married his beloved wife, Kit on June 17, 1972 and they recently celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary. His hobbies included visiting with friends, raising bantam chickens and peacocks and enjoying nature. Don served as a former member of the Lamar City Council, where his presence enriched the local community in many ways.

Don was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, William Junior Warren and his wife, Florence (Robertson) Warren; his brother, Finis Lee Warren and one sister, Georgia Marie Warren.

He is survived by his wife, Kit Louise (Lewis) Warren of Lamar; his son, Jarret Michael Warren of Fort Smith; his daughter, Britni Erin (Warren) Conaway of Rogers and his three grandchildren, Brennan Conaway, Dawson Conaway and Emrie Conaway; sister in-law, Patsy (Reynolds) Warren and many other family and friends.

The family wishes to express their thanks to close friends and extended family, the office of Dr. John Dunham in Clarksville and the caring staff of Gentiva Hospice in Russellville for their continued efforts and diligent care for the last year of Don's Life.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Roller-Cox Funeral Home in Clarksville. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at the same location with Pastor Ken Sisco officiating. Burial will follow at Lamar Cemetery in Lamar, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Gary Warren, Randy Warren, Tony Warren, Jesse Warren, Bryan Warren and William Warren.
