Barbara Stone of Greenbrier went to be with our Lord on Aug 27, 2025. She was 87 years old and had lived a vibrant and full life. She was born in Plumerville, Arkansas on Aug 5, 1938, to Everett and Ella Mae Jenkins.

She had a love for music which began as she played the piano for the Portland Baptist Church in Plumerville beginning as a young teenager. She was a Pastoral Care secretary at Baptist Hospital for 20 years, where she also played the piano for Chapel services. She was married to Tommy Stone for over 50 years, and he preceded her in death as did her parents, son, Tim Stone, brother, Raymond Jenkins, and a niece, Roxanne Withers.

She is survived by her son, Michael Stone (wife Bev); 7 grandchildren, Katy Stone, Rachel Goodroe (husband Hunter), Brad Stone (wife Chrystal), Tim Stone, Michael Stone, Caroline Sturdavant (husband Chris), and Carter Stone. She has 6 great-grandchildren Andre, Marcus, Maria, Hayden, Oliver, and Stella. She is also survived by her niece, Connie Jenkins and so many relatives and friends.

She was a member of Markham Street Baptist Church and a believer in Jesus Christ as Savior. We want to thank the care team at Greenbrier Nursing Home for their compassionate and kind support over these past few months.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday September 2, 2025, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier with visitation at 10:00am and service at 11:00am with Rev. Pat Fulmer officiating. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway.
