of Guy, AR
April 19, 1937 - August 24, 2025
Marvin Don Lee, 88, of Guy, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 24, 2025. He was born April 19, 1937 in Pettus, Arkansas to the late Franklin ''Blaine'' Lee and Vada (Burgess) Killion. Marvin was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Susie ''Mardula'' Lee; sister, Betty Garrison and stepfather, James Killion.
Marvin was a charter member of Copperas Springs Baptist Church in Guy. He devoted his life to providing for his family by serving in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years retiring as Master Sergeant. Marvin was also a certified foreign car mechanic working for an auto dealership and then owning his own repair shop. He also owned and operated Guy Texaco and was the Guy water department superintendent.
In his early years Marvin was a tireless hunter, fisherman and gardener as a means of providing for his family during lean times. Later in life these remained hobbies that he was very good at.
Marvin was a Shriner, Master Mason in the Masonic Lodge and Judge Advocate in the VFW. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion, VFW and Masonic Lodge. These were all organizations he was very proud to be associated with.
Marvin was very personable, passionate and sometimes opinionated man. He loved visiting with family and friends. If he was sitting on his front porch, you were welcome to stop and visit.
Marvin loved his sports teams also. If you knew him, his emotions rose and fell with the Dodgers. He was also a dedicated Razorback baseball fan, but really rooted for anything Razorback.
Left to cherish his memory are his children: Larry (Nancy) Lee of Martinville, Terry (Ellen) Lee of Bee Branch, Sheila (Jeff) Pennington of Damascus, Saundra (Charles) Troutte of Sherwood, Tony (Cindy) Lee of Conway; grandchildren, Blake Kimble, Jeff Lee, Brittney Flowers, Jamie Haley, Taylor Lee, Will Pennington; great grandchildren, Haleigh Flowers, Kennedy Flowers, Logan Haley, Luke Haley, Parker Lee, Julia Lee, Noah Lee, Liam Pennington, Graham Pennington; brothers, Bobby (Frankie) Lee of England, Tommy (Ola) Lee of Conroe, TX; sister, Nancy (Ray) Moix of Conway; in addition to a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00PM Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Copperas Springs Baptist Church in Guy. Funeral Service will begin at 10:00AM Friday, August 29, 2025 at Copperas Springs Baptist Church with Burial following at Copperas Springs Cemetery.

Marvin Lee was my Brother in Masonry, and a dear, dear friend. I met Marvin more than 25 years ago when I became a Mason. While you never had to guess where Marvin stood on any given issue, he was a generous, kind, man who deeply loved his family and friends, and would do anything for just about anybody if they were in need of help. Marvin had a sharp, mischievous wit, and there are few people in this world that have made me laugh more or harder. He was brave, serving in the Air Force during Vietnam, and spending significant time in a combat zone, facing very real danger. He was also one of the best hunters, fishermen and mechanics I have ever known..I love you, Marvin Lee..and I'm going to miss you. Me and you and my Daddy are all going fishing one day in one of our Creator's favorite honey holes..Godspeed, my dear friend.
So sorry about Marvin. Thought a lot of him as a friend. May God Bless and comfort each of you as only HE can do. Blessings to all! Fred and Dorothy Morlan
