of Conway, AR
May 22, 1958 - August 21, 2025
Judith was born May 22, 1958, in Carlisle and died August 21, 2025. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Curtis Adams and mother, Nelda Merline Martin Adams, both of Hazen, Arkansas.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Douglas Taylor; daughters, Mary Elisabeth Taylor of Conway and Paula Stephens of Cave Springs; son, Andrew Taylor of North Little Rock; sisters, Nancy Branscum of Jonesboro and Linda Ashbrook of Stuttgart; brother, Gary Adams of Jonesboro, and grandchildren, Clara and Connor Stephens of Cave Springs. Many wonderful and awesome nieces and nephews. More cousins and friends than most people can count. 'Mama Taylor' also leaves behind a bunch of Wampus Cat band kids because "She was with the Band".
She and her husband were members of Antioch Baptist Church in Conway, and she loved her Bible Study ladies. She loves the Lord, her church and family. She studied Spanish so she could go on mission trips to Mexico. Judy had an amazing recall of events and people she would meet, a trait which she got from her Daddy, Curt.
She loved cooking (you can tell a lot about someone from their spice cabinet) so much so that she turned Thanksgiving night into a tradition of soup night that extended family looked forward to! She loved planting flowers, but her favorite activity was walking on the beach. I am sure Jesus will meet her, and they will go hand in hand down the beach into the sunset.
And everything was to "Judy's Rules".
A visitation will be at Antioch Baptist Church, Conway, on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 12:00pm with a service at 1:00pm. Interment will be immediately following the service at Centerpoint Cemetery in Hazen, Arkansas. Serving as pallbearers will be Ali Haydar, Andrew Taylor, Drew Branscum, Todd Paraley, Terry Poole, and Brian Goines.
Judy and I were classmates from 6th through 12 grade at Stuttgart. She was a quiet, soft spoken young lady with a heart as big as the earth. She loved her family, her friends, her SHS Marching Band, and especially her Savior. The past few years has been full of many health issues for Judy, but she met each one with determination and strength to fight. I know that she is in Heaven with her family and her Savior, healed and whole once again. The world will shine with 1 less light, but Heaven will be brighter by 1. Rest in peace and love my friend.
Paul, I am so very sorry about the loss of Judy. Through the grief I know that you are glad she is now healed. Your journey will now be different, but hopefully, you can look back on the good times and cherish those moments. You know that I know. The comfort comes from knowing she is no longer in pain and can laugh and talk and enjoy the wonderful place that is Heaven.
Heaven Just Got Sweeter. I know you're so happy with Jesus but we will miss you so. God be with you Paul, M. E. & all who love her.
Go rest high on that mountain Cuz ; as soon as you finish that walk down the beach with Jesus. Tell my Aunt Nelda and Uncle Curt hello, we love them and miss them dearly and we hope to reunite with them someday.
