My dear Sandy,
It was a shock to open fb and see your announcement. I'm still stunned
You and Russell were so special to me. How blessed I feel to have spent some time with you. This will be a difficult time for you AND we know all about heaven and how Jesus is so real. It doesn't totally take away the pain but it is the truth that gets us through.
I love you and will hold you up to the Lord!
Love Kathy
The world has lost a beautiful soul.
I became acquainted with Russell when I worked at FNB Paris. He always reminded me of Santa Clause. Somehow I learned he was the son of Mandel Brown. Mandel was my Dad's boss at Arkansas Western Gas Co. for a time. I don't really remember him because I was a little girl at the time; but I heard stories about him all my life. I felt a connection to Russell due to that relationship. I really got to know Russell and Sandy through COS. Russell fought the good fight against cancer with courage and valor. I don't remember ever seeing him down or discouraged. Heaven has gained a good man. Sandy and family, may you be comforted by God's grace.
