Brenda, I am so sorry to hear of Bernard's death. My prayers are for you and your family. Bernard was a good friend and fun to be around. He was always available and ready to help. I really enjoyed working with him and the duck, turkey and deer hunts we had together.
May God comfort and bless you and your family.
I enjoyed many turkey hunts with Bernard and I'll miss my hunting buddy. Prayers to the family.
He was much more of a brother than a cousin. My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has given me a wonderful life and family. Bernard was a huge part of that. I'm glad his struggle is over because I know where he is. Will see you soon brother.
I knew Bernard, both through our common employment with the Corps of Engineers and our membership in the Scottish Rite Masonic Bodies of Arkansas.
He was a wonderful man; a God-fearing Christian with a conscientious work ethic and a friend to all!
He was always the calm within the storm!!!! Sometimes a rascal but a GOOD man.
He was always the calm within the storm!!!! Sometimes a rascal but a GOOD man.
I have vivid and fond memories of Bernard and Dick Bowers telling stories and razzing each other. The world is lessened for his passing!
Bernard was definitely a ''1 of a kind''! I enjoyed working with him over the years, a great guy.
Bernard you will be greatly missed. You leave a big hole on this earth, but I know you are playing golf and telling big time hunting and fishing stories beyond the pearly gates. We had so many fond memories at the US Army Corps of Engineers Little Rock District office, as well as on the golf course and around the catfish cooker. May God always hold you in the palm of his hand.
Bernard had a truly joyous spirit. He will be missed.

I am at a loss for words for this loss that we have all suffered. But I know that we shall meet again!
Brenda and family,
I'm saddened to hear of Bernard's death but comforted that his long days of suffering are over.
If there is anything I can do for you, please reach out! I promised Bernard I would help you and I'm just a phone call away!
Prayers for you and the girls.
