Omer Bernard Singleton, 80, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025, at The Springs of Premier. A celebration of his life will be held at Levy Baptist Church on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, starting with a visitation at 10:30 AM, followed by a service at 11:30 AM. There will be a graveside burial service at 1:00 PM.
Born on September 4, 1944, in Woodson, Arkansas, Omer proudly served his country in the U.S. Army before beginning a long and dedicated 35-year career with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. A man of deep faith and community spirit, Omer was an active member of the Masonic Lodge and served as a deacon at Levy Baptist Church.
Omer had a passion for the outdoors and spent many happy days fishing, hunting, and enjoying the simple pleasures of life. He cherished the time he spent with his beloved "lunch bunch" and found his greatest joy in the company of his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Faye and Milard Singleton, and his sister, Bertha Hart. Omer leaves behind his loving wife, Brenda Singleton; his daughter, Deborah Anderson; and two granddaughters, Morgan Anderson and Madelyn Anderson Williams, along with her husband, Tanner Williams, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Omer will be remembered for his warmth, steady integrity, and deep love for those around him. His laughter, wisdom, and gentle spirit touched all who had the privilege of knowing him.
