Jerry Lane Grissom, 82, of Damascus went to be with the Lord on November 16, 2023. He was born October 31, 1941 in Bee Branch, Arkansas to the late Dallas and Gracie Grissom. Jerry attended Sand Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Damascus where he was very active and always lending a helping hand. He retired from Halbert Pipe and Steel after 34 years as Warehouse Manager. Jerry enjoyed running beagle dogs, farming beef cattle, but more than anything being ''Papaw'' and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Phyllis Grissom; daughter, Kim (Mark) Hall; grandchildren, Sawyer (Anna) Hall, Colter (Olivia) Hall, Madison Hall; one great-grandson, Walker James Hall; two sisters, Genice Lane and Sue (Gene) Byrd and many more nieces, nephews, family and friends.Funeral Service will be on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 2:30PM at Sand Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Gravesville, Arkansas. Visitation will be one hour prior at 1:30PM at the Church. Burial will follow the service at Old Salem Cemetery.
