Melinda, so sad to hear of your mother’s passing. I loved reading how she influenced her grandchildren. Know our thoughts and prayers are with you & your family.Mick & Cathy
Barbara was the kindest person I know. She was a wonderful friend to our family, but especially to my mother. She was the best friend a person could ever hope to have. I have great memories of helping Barbara and mother with their garage sales. We had so much fun. Prayers for peace and comfort for your family at this time. I am so sorry that I will not be able to attend the funeral…..we have a family funeral at the same time.
I have such great memories of growing up with the Pettets as friends on Purdue Circle: Moms playing cards while we swam at Western Hills Pool, church functions, sleep-overs dancing to the Monkees. It was truly an idyllic childhood and Barbara was a large part of that. The McCoy children are especially grateful for Barbara’s kindness to our mother during her journey with Alzheimer’s. Many friends seemed to disappear, but Barbara continued to be a caring friend. All our love and sympathy, Jane McCoy Harkey, Amanda McCoy Hendrix, Jeff Mccoy
We are sorry for you loss.
