It's so sad to hear of your Mom's passing. She was always so involved in all aspects of community activities. She will certainly be missed.
I am so sorry to hear this
Peggy and Rudy, my condolences to you both. Your precious mother was a remarkable woman. Stylish and yet so down to earth. A trip back home from Tumbling Shoals with her one afternoon was priceless. She, in the back seat sat foward, head resting in hand and told me stories from going to work during WWII to the 1st thing she's going to do when she gets to Heaven. Best show ever with no interupting commercials. Wouldn't have traded it for the world; not to mention the short time we had in the waiting room of a Drs office once. One busy, looked up to, very respected and well loved Woman to be praised! Arrivederci Jean Burns! Randy Marotti
Jean was a role-model for all women! She was a vibrant, encouraging, caring person and had many accomplishments, including dancing! Her life was an encouragement to all women! ♥ She will be greatly missed.

So sorry to hear of Mrs. Burns passing. Our thoughts & prayers go out to the family. She was a fine lady that I know will be missed by many !
I first met Jean when I worked with her at Earle Jr. High. She was always so much fun and full of energy! I often asked her how she had so much energy. She loved her family and organized gatherings for them and yes was involved in many activities in town. I loved hearing about her life in the war years. I will miss her.
Peggy your Mom was a sweetheart. I remember when I worked at Regions bank in West Memphis and she would come thru the drive-thru & we would have the best visiting & talking about Earle. Please accept my condolences.
