Kenneth Ray Allred, Sr., 78, entered the arms of Jesus on Monday, January 23, 2023 at his home in Kenton, TN. He was a loving husband, father and Pop.
Ken served on the Memphis Police Department for 13 years and worked in the drafting industry for many years. He also served as a bi-vocational pastor for many years, pastoring a Laotian congregation and several other churches in the Memphis, TN area. Mr. Allred was a member of First Baptist Church in Kenton, TN. He enjoyed golfing, spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren, whom he loved very much. He was a lifelong fan of the University of Memphis as well as Auburn University. He was also a big fan of any sport his children and grandchildren played.
Mr. Allred was preceded in death by Baby Allred, his father and mother, Albie and X.L. Allred and brother, Howard Allred, Sr.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Susan Allred; sons, Ken (Lisa) Allred, Jr. and Shawn (Stephanie) Allred and five grandchildren, Zachary, Reagan, Savannah, Sophie and Shiloh Allred. He is also survived by his brother, Charles (Carol) Allred and sister, Shirley Martz.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 11:00 am, with the service beginning at 1 pm at Leawood Baptist Church in Memphis, TN with Bro. Phil Glisson officiating. Interment will follow at Memphis Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers are Zach Allred, Tommy Allred, Howard Allred, Jr., Terry Stinson, Mike Ciaramitaro and Dennis Littleton.

Kenny and I were were 1963 classmates. I am sorry to hear of his loss, but grateful to learn that he not only served his community, but our LORD. My condolences to his family and friends who remained close to Kenny throughoout his life. God bless.
Pop and Honey are our wonderful friends. We love very much.
Once we all get to Heaven, we can go camping again. Gonna miss you Pop. We will see you again.
