August 1, 1935 - November 2, 2021

Shirley Ann Bowie, 86, of Greenbrier, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 in Conway, Arkansas. Mrs. Bowie was born on Thursday, August 1, 1935 to the late William Daniel Campbell and Florence Arkey Shipp Campbell in Senath, Missouri.

Shirley was a member of the Greenbrier Church of Christ for many years. She enjoyed making quilts, being active in her church, was a renown cook, gardening, had a green thumb and even a green toe. Mrs. Bowie was a devoted homemaker to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are, her loving husband of over sixty-nine years, John L. Bowie; one son, James Lee Bowie (Deborah) of Greenbrier, Arkansas; one daughter, Teresa Ann McNinch (Randel) of Greenbrier, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Kim Madsen, Crystal Guthrie, Angela Stroh, Chad Bowie, Kim Pruitt, Austin Bowie; fifteen great-grandchildren, Hannah Guthrie, Autumn Madsen, Serenity Pruitt, McKenzie Stroh, Tinley Guthrie, Abby Madsen, Jaelyn Pruitt, Campbell Madsen, Dane Stroh, Keegan Bowie, John Denton Stroh, Maddie Stroh, Owen Bowie, Molly Stroh, Blakeley Bowie; one sister, Ruth Hawkins of Kennett, Missouri, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mrs. Bowie is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Loys Campbell, Willie D. Campbell, E.C. Campbell; five sisters, Della Wills, Helen Rannenburg, Harriett B. Gilliam, Geraldine Campbell, Jeanette Meadows.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Bowie will be 11 A.M. Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the Greenbrier Church of Christ. Visitation will be one hour prior. Interment will follow at Cadron Valley Cemetery in Greenbrier, Arkansas.
