I only just found out about this, my condolences to Larry and the rest of the family. I knew Leister through the Masonic Lodge and always, always enjoyed chatting with him. I was constantly amazed at how sharp he was, and can only hope and pray that when I am that age that I resemble him. A wonderful man and brother; he will be missed by all.

Angel, so very sorry for your loss. Prayers for you and you family

Leister and Della were so nice to me. I will miss Bro. Leister he was one of a kind!

Our neighborhood will never be the same. God has surely gained an angel. Mr Spradlin was the first person at my house right after my son and first responders the night my husband passed. He was so sweet. I know he and Kirk are having a good time swapping stories. Prayers for all of you during this sad time. He will truly be missed. Cindy

Praying God can bring peace to your hearts at this time. So sorry for your loss.

Amazing man and he will be missed

Leister was a good neighbor to all who knew him. He was there to help my parents when they bought the house next door, and he was there to help after their passing and we moved back to Wooster. There will be a big gap in our neighborhood with his passing! Rest in peace, Leister!!

He was one of the kindest and thoughtful uncle I had you will be greatly missed

My thoughts and prayers have been with you for many years and will continue for many more. If I can help or just listen, I'm here.
Love,
Eric

Angel, my heartfelt love and sympathy go out to you, your mom and the family. There are no words to take this pain away and only time will allow you to feel like you can breathe again. Know that you are loved more than you know. Love you Brenda

We loved uncle Leister so much we will always have wonderful memories of this wonderful man ~ hold on to those beautiful memories!!

Leister Elwood "L.E" Spradlin was one of my most favored uncles and last of my mother's brothers to pass through the veil. We have had long hours of wonderful visits with him and aunt Della. we love the family and will miss his disarming smile and voice. He was like a lighted candle in a darkened room - the room was always brighter where he stood.
I thank him for his long years of service in the military. Two people have put their lives on the line for us, Jesus Christ and the American Soldier. Three generations have served us - salute.
I well remember when I was 9 years old, L.E. had just married one of the most beautiful girls in Mayflower and my father and I were in our horse drawn farm wagon on a mud road in the Mt. Nebo area. The newlyweds were very stuck in the mire and we hooked our horses to their car and pulled them out so they could be on their way- what a handsome couple.
We thank the Lord that we were able to walk upon their path for a time. My life is better because of them.
Prayers and blessings upon the family at this time . Rest assured that his candle did not go out - only the aged carriage. Love
Ron & Pat Spradlin
