Mrs.Opal was my teacher in the early 40's at Fifty-Six and I remember her fondly . One of the things I recall was the trip she took us out to Arkansas State to show us how the students lived on campus. She taught her students well . My condolences to the family.
A very rare Beautiful Lady that will be missed, the world would be a wonderful place if there were more people like her.I could sit and listen to her talk and tell her stories and never be bored. You will be missed Opal Bone. We all will always remember you and think of your wonderful stories of Rock Hill. Thank you so much, and may God be with your Family.
We loved Mrs. Bone. We were friends with her and Mr Ira when we were the youth minister at Central Baptist Jonesboro from 1985-1989. I still have receipts that Mrs Bone shared with me over 20 years ago. She was a dear soul!
We are thinking about you in this time of loss.
We loved Ms.Opal and miss her very much.
May God Bless your family

Sarah and Eddie and families,
We loved your mother and daddy very much for so many years. There are many fond memories of those days. It takes a special person to be a school teacher and enjoy their kids as much as your mother did. Ira was special to us too and I loved how he hung in there singing with the choir as long as he could. We will remember you in prayer.

I have such fond memories of the best second grade teacher a young girl could have had. Your loss is felt by many who are grateful to have known her. God bless you!
To the Bone Family: Ed, my lifetime friend and personal guide to my salvation; I extend my condolences at the passing of your mother. Reading the newspaper notice this morning brought a flood of special memories back to the front. Walnut Street seems so long ago. I extend sympathy on Janet's behalf, and feel she's giving a heavenly welcome of her own. Bless you... In His name... Dave
To the family:
I was in Mrs. Bones second grade class at Valley View around 1975 or 76 and very much remember her being a fun and caring teacher. I graduated in 1985 and as so many of her former students did, I recieved a graduation card that contained several newspaper clippings that she had kept for me. I still have that card and it has even more meaning to me now.
Your family are in my prayers and she will be truely missed.

Please accept my sincere condolences regarding the passing of your mother and grandmother. Opal and Ira were both people for whom I always had great respect. Their faith was evident and their friendship was cherished by many, including myself. I will miss seeing them at church and around town as well.
Please know that I am praying for you. May God's Grace and Peace be with you all during this time and in the days to come.
