Jessie Mae Trickey

of Benton, AR

March 25, 1933 - November 18, 2008

Jessie Mae Trickey, 75, of Benton, died Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born March 25, 1933 to the late Jesse Wendler and Maude (Hicks) Wendler.

Mrs. Trickey was a devoted homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, William Lee (Bill) Trickey and one brother Bill Wendler.

Our mother was a woman who led by example, who was always positive, uplifting and encouraging, whose favorite saying was ''Everything will be alright.'' Well, Mom, it is. You are home now with Dad in Heaven! We are so thankful and blessed for the courageous faith-filled legacy you left with us!

She is survived by two sons, Gary Trickey and wife Susan of Benton and Rickey Trickey and wife Cindy of Sherwood; two daughters, Debbie Barnes and husband Terry and Susan White and husband James both from Benton; two sisters, Mary Johnson and husband Johnny of Moses Lake, WA and Elizabeth Laris of San Lorenzo, CA; nine grandchildren, Nicole Howell, Brooke Barnes Parker and husband Craig, Jamie Trickey Goodwin, Christopher Trickey and wife Shannon, Brittany and Ashley Trickey, Lauren and Sydney White, and Chris White and wife Amber, and seven great-grandchildren, Paige Howell, Jaycee and Reedy Goodwin, Austen Colclasure, Alex and Aiden Parker, and Cam White.

Visitation will be held between 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, with Rosary at 6:00 P.M. at the church.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 21, 2008 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Rev. William Elser and Deacon John Duke officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.

Pallbearers are Tom Connell, Donald Gattin, Harold Corn, Christopher Trickey, Chris White, and Craig Parker. Honorary Pallbearers are Joe Morrison, Ellis Milam, and Bob Clift.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christian Community Care Clinic, CJCOHN, or Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.

A special thanks to the staff of Saline County Dialysis Clinic for taking such loving care of our mom for the last seven years.

Jerry and I are so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She was a wonderful person. I have had the privelege of Jesse telling me several times, "Everything wil be alright". She used to call me several times in years past to just chit chat. I can remember some of the things that we talked about, mostly family.
Our prayers go out to you all and yes she definitly is the arms of Our Savior.
May God Bless You All and Keep You in His Loving Arms.

We all loved your mom and it was a joy to care for her. She always had a good attitude about life. Due to her illness she had to deal with many difficult times, but she was always hopefull and didn't let it get her down. That is extremely hard to do. We admired her and she was an inspiration to all that knew her. Even though I will not be able to attend her funeral, I will be thinking about her and she will always be in my heart.
Our prayers are with you,
The staff of Saline County Dialysis

My sorrow and sympathy go out to Jessie's family. I worked with Bill at the Courier so I knew Jessie and Bill well at that time and kept up with them years afterward. They are both missed but what joy at their reunion. Praise God for His promises.

I will always remember MS. Trickey as one of the kindest, most generous people I have ever met. Her strong devotion to family and omnipresent faith continue to serve as an inspiration to all whose lives she touched. Her ability to bring out the positive in any situation is truly a testament to the beautiful, unique person I am happy to have had the pleasure of knowing.
