Mavis E. May, age 62, of Midway, Arkansas, died Sunday, July 22, 2007, at her residence. She was born February 23, 1945, at Tullula, Mississippi, to William and Ora Lumbley Lewis. She married James May on December 20, 1974, in Carson City, Nevada, and moved to this area 16 years ago from Napa, California. Mrs. May was a member of Trinity Chapel.
Survivors are: her husband: James May: of the home; 2 sons: Bennie Necaise Junior III; and William Bennett Necaise: Gulfport, Mississippi; 2 daughters: Judy Renee Dedeaux: Perkinston, Mississippi and Diane Byrum: Mountain Home; 2 brothers: DewWayne Lewis: Crescent, Oregon and Travis Lewis: Powderly, Texas; 6 sisters: Patricia Trottier: Bend, Oregon; Dorothy Chaffin: Lapine, Oregon; Jean White: Sacramento, California; Sharon Lewis: Ponchatula, Louisiana; Rita Lewis: Martinez, California; and Arlene Lewis: Oregon; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son: David Necaise; and 1 grandson.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday in the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend William Tunstall officiating. Interment will follow in Hand Cemetery.

I always loved her and she knew it! She would always call me in the middle of the night no matter where we lived, just to catch up with each other!l I miss her so much!!!
