I cannot think of a word that better describes Carroll than the word "fun". He was always fun to be around, because as Gene said in his eulogy, Carroll was all about people. In his career, he never let the bad side of business change the way he supported those that worked for and with him. He always sought out the positive side of good people and that is where he lived. He was one of a handful of people that I can call a true friend and Brenda and I are so very fortunate to have had him in our lives.
When we look back over the years at all of the good times we have had, Carroll and Ethel are usually part of what we call the "classics". How could we ever forget the Kentucky Derby parties, Skiing at Angel Fire and on and on. Although we will miss Carroll , we will always have these great memories. God bless the family and our love to all. Larry & Tommie
Heartfelt condolences to you Ethel and the family of our good friend Carroll Lawrence. Carroll and I were peer managers at Diebold for many years. I always enjoyed our business meetings and social events during that time. Carroll had natural business acumen linked to wisdom and common sense. We all benefited from his presence and we will surely miss him.
Ethel, You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Carroll was such a fun person and he will be missed by all who knew him. Remember all your State Farm friends are thinking of you and we hope to see you soon. Debby

My deepest condolences and prayers are with you. I met Carroll while working at Diebold, he was a mentor at the beginning of my career and an inspiration through out. Carroll taught me to laugh at myself and to find the best in all situations. He will be truly missed.
