Lisa Lyn Whitson, 51, of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Monday, August 10, 2020 in Springfield, Missouri. She was born on August 12, 1968 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to her parents, Johnny Lawson and Ardale (Robertson) Hughes.
Lisa has worked for many years as a Brick Mason and was a member of Starting Point Church in Magazine. She loved to do anything outdoors especially fishing and always tried to live life to the fullest.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Lavon Hughes.
She is survived by her two sons, Kaleb Whitson and wife Fallon of Paris and Deven Whitson of Paris; her mother, Ardale Hughes of Paris; her father, Johnny Lawson of Pennsylvania; one sister, Tesa Hughes of Paris; her companion, John Hurst of Hartman; one grandson, Ayden and her niece, Tenzli Shae and her nephew, Tyler Hughes.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, August 14, 2020 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris officiated by Rev. Hank Weaver.
Burial will be at Stoney Point Cemetery in Scranton under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 100 people at one time.
All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.

Fly high aunt Lisa, I have So many great memories with you from my childhood on Brushy Mountain. I was prolly with you at your house more than I was at my own house! I went everywhere with you too!! Even as I grew old we always told each other we loved one another â¤ï¸. RIP sweet lady!
