I loved this lady! She was a wonderful teacher. Always kept you engaged with her stories. She was full of energy, had a positive outlook, encouraging and kind. And she loved her Charley. Have heard countless stories(every day things) of their life together.
My sympathy in her famy's loss. She was a wonderful example.
Mrs. McCoy was my 6th grade teacher at DeSoto, one of my very favorite of all time. Thought of her often. Lots of great memories of this wonderful lady. Thoughts and prayers for her family.
A sweet, determined lady for sure! Happy to get to know her over the last year. Will miss seeing her. Prayers for her family.

She taught my Uncle Floyd Johnston in the fourth or fifth grade. She will be missed.
I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs.McCoy drove the school bus from Elaine to DeSoto when I was in school at DeSoto from around 1970 to 1977. She was always so sweet and lots of fun. Wonderful lady!!
