LC Gammill, 89, of Timbo, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at his home. He was born November 20, 1930 in Fairview, Arkansas to the late Ola Gammill (Martin) and Earl Gammill.
He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church of Onia, Arkansas where he served as a Sunday School Teacher and played guitar for the worship service for many years. LC will be remembered for his humble and kind spirit and for the loving pillar of faith he was to all who encountered him.
LC was preceded in death by his father Earl Gammill, his mother Ola Gammill; his first wife, Gennetta Branscum Gammill; a brother Harvey Gammill; a brother Guy Gammill; one sister, Dorothy McGehee, and a step son Ronnie Brightwell.
He is survived by his wife Frances Gammill of the home; one sister, Nola Morrison of Timbo, Arkansas; one son and daughter-in-law Mark (Vickie) Gammill of Clinton, Arkansas; one daughter and son-in-law, Sondra (Bill) Cownie of Denver, North Carolina; step-daughter, Denise Storey (Tim) of Mountain View, Arkansas; step-daughter, Dayna(Jackie) Trammell of Newnata, Arkansas; five grandchildren, James (Arista) Gammill, Allison (Kevin) Harris, Jeffrey (Kayla) Gammill, Lauren Cownie and Haley Cownie; step-grandchildren, Misty, Brandi and Josh Brightwell, Kristy Storey, Shanya (Jeremy) McIntire, Tracey (Kelly) Kelner; five great-grandchildren, and 9 step great-grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation is Thursday, July 30, 2020 from 10:00-11:00AM at Bethany Baptist Church in Onia, Arkansas. Funeral services will follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 AM with Pastor Roy Jones and Brother David Campbell officiating. Interment will follow the service at Pordue Cemetery in Onia, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are James Gammill, Jeffrey Gammill, Bill Cownie, Terry Gammill, Tim Storey, Jackie Trammell, Randall Morrison, and Les Morrison. Honorary pallbearers are Tim Gammill, Todd McGehee, Trevor McGehee, Jeremy McIntire, Kelly Kelner, and Josh Brightwell.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
