Robert Newton "Bob" Faulkner passed away on July 10, 2020, in Marianna, Arkansas, after a yearslong battle with multiple sclerosis. Bob was born on June 4, 1953, in Little Rock to Dr. and Mrs. Henry Newton Faulkner of Helena. Bob is preceded in death by his father H.N. Faulkner. He is survived by his mother Helen Martin Faulkner; his brothers William Moore "Bill" Faulkner and Martin Bullard "Marty" Faulkner; his sister-in-law Laurie Svendson Faulkner; and his niece Kiley Nelson Faulkner.
The family would like to thank Bob's lifelong friends Charles Hudson of Rogers, Shorty Storey of Marianna, Steve Higginbothom of Marianna, Joe Howe of Helena, and Walter Morris Jr. of Helena, as well as the devoted staff of Crestpark Marianna and Helena Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 31, at 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Helena (Fellowship Hall). In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the charity of your choice.
