Franz lived a rich life traveling the world, listening to classical music and in his later years playing with his grandkids, taking care of his wife and studying quantum mechanics. First, I would like to extend my deepest condolences to Franz's family. Franz and I became friends when we would meet at Clarity Point (later Avenir) to have lunch, Franz with Yuki and me with Daris. I always enjoyed visiting with Franz. He always had a great smile to go along with his upbeat personality. I was always impressed how quickly he could move and, truth be told, a little jealous. I enjoyed practicing my German with Franz now and then. He did a wonderful job seeing after Yuki and if things weren't going to his satisfaction, he surely let staff and management know in no uncertain terms. He as a very nice man.

Franz was always welcome in our Dental office. He always came with a big smile and a package of cookies. I truly admired Franz for his loving care of Yukiko, during her long illness. He was fortunate to have a loving family and will be missed by all. Friends forever. Buchman Family Dental. (Dr. Leif Lorenz and staff)
