John Stephen Robbins, Jr., went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 7, 2020 at the age of 95.He was born on December 26, 1924 in River Falls, Alabama to John and Felishie Robbins.

He served his country during WWII in the Army as a Medic in France and Germany. He first saw his future wife, Margaret, on a sidewalk in Morrilton,Arkansas while his unit was deployed to Arkansas to aid with flood control. He said he knew that day he would marry her. They enjoyed 74 years of marriage before the Lord called Margaret home in 2018.

John was a natural salesman. After returning from the war he began his sales career selling Toms Peanuts. He quickly moved into insurance, starting his own companies and later added real estate to his entrepreneurial endeavors. Always on the go and loving his work, he finally retired from RPM Realty at the age of 82.

John never met a stranger and always made anyone he came in contact with feel like they were the most important person he had ever talked to. No one ever had to doubt how much John loved and cared about them, he showed it every time you were with him. He had a special relationship with each of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He spent countless hours playing with them and teaching them everything from water skiing, how to play golf and how to drive a car.He loved to play golf and travel with Margaret. They were blessed with many wonderful years together and traveled to 46 states in their motor home.

John was a faithful member of Fellowship Bible Church and truly missed attending in recent years when his health would not allow.

John was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Margaret, 2 brothers, Donald Ray Robbins; Kyle Robbins; and great granddaughter, Reese Catherine Rowe.

He is survived by two daughters, Patricia Rowe (Cam) and Tracy Cotton; four grandchildren; Jason Rowe (Katie), Shannon Davis (Cody), Andrew Rowe (Jessica), Lyndsey Butler; nine great grandchildren, Zach, Colson, Crew Rowe, Westin, Reagan, Grady Davis, Tejay and Aaren Rowe and Mallory Cotton.

The family would like to thank the loving caregivers that took such wonderful care of John and the whole family; Shelia, Eyverne, Latoya, Carolyn and Shirley.

A graveside service will be held 10 am, Friday, July 10, 2020 at Elmwood Cemetery in Morrilton, Arkansas.
