A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Blackwell Cemetery in Bee Branch, Arkansas.
I am sorry to learn, just as I found a DNA connection to Mr. Crownover, that he had already passed away. My own mother, Virginia Gail Overton, passed away just 16 days after this shows he did.
To his children: I never knew him or you, but I do know the pain of the loss of a parent. It doesn't get easier just because a year has passed -- because we loved them our entire lives. I can only say that the pain is ours... not theirs anymore. I know my mother is free of pain, and with her Maker. As I'm sure your father is.
Much love from a cousin you never knew about,
Crystal Grice Feier
daughter of Virginia Gail Overton
daughter of Opal Emma Wiedower
daughter of Julius John Wiedower
son of George Henry Wiedower and Josephine Gottsponner (Lydia Wiedower Crownover's parents)
I was saddened to learn of Larry's passing. I knew Larry through my brother Lee for 50 years or so. Larry was his lifelong friend and like a brother to him. Their sports conversations were epic. Always an interesting person, a good soul and just a great guy, My best to the family and may god bless him in his new home.
I enjoyed working with Larry. He was a great engineer and he was also a great guy. The office was brighter with Larry in it. His humor kept us all in stitches. Billie, Jennifer, and family I am very sorry for your loss and my prayers are with you.
Larry was a true gentle giant with so much wisdom and humor! Working with Larry back as a summer student then starting in 2001 as a Mech Engineer, I so appreciated his candid comments as well as jokes during our discussions. He taught me a tremendous amount about design and construction aspects. I highly respected Larry so very sad to hear this knowing he will be greatly missed.
My heart hurts for the Family but know that Larry now has a new body in Heaven. May the Lord provide strength, comfort & peace. Praying your memories of Larry will help to move forward until we see him again. Amen!

I was a classmate of Larry's in high school, we always shared a homeroom and had a couple other classes together. Lost contact when our high school adventure ended, but the photo in the paper caught my eye. Other than less hair, he looked much the same as in NLRHS '61 yearbook. My sympathy to his family and friends, he was definitely a good guy when I knew him.
Larry and I worked together on many projects. I learned a lot from Larry and his buddy Gordon. I was just starting on the job, Larry and Gordon would make the rounds and always included me. This is what got me so tuned in to construction and engineering in general. Larry was a "true" belt and suspenders mechanical engineer. Condolences to the family.
I was blessed to have Larry for a brother. He will be missed by many. I’m sure dad has a fishing hole pick out for him.
So sorry. Wish we could of got together before he pasted.
So sad to read of Larry's passing. My condolences and prayers to Billie, Tim, Jennifer, and family in this time of great loss in your lives. Larry was an amazing human being, mentor, and engineer. He helped to raise a bunch of engineers, like me, at the Corps, so I expect that there will always be a little of him on the job there.
I worked with Larry in the late 1990's and early 2000's on a variety of construction contracts on the Arkansas River. He and I spent countless hours on the phone working out contract problems. He always found a way to work some humor into those problem solving sessions and I will always remember him fondly.
My heart goes out to his family and I pray that you are comforted with that peace that surpasses all understanding that only our Lord can provide during this difficult time.

Larry and I played roundball together at NLRHS and worked together for a few years. He was a good friend and a pretty good ball player.
