Lisa, I just found about John's passed away. I remember the day when I became a US Citizen, and for the first time I saw John and his family came to our office to present him our United Way President. What a great leader he was throughout the years - a leader that show his values through his actions and words. John and all the employees that worked tougher, build United Way with passion for health and human services, for the needs of our community, and having a better quality of life.

John, You will be Missed!

May Your Memory be Eternal!

It is with great sadness I’ve learned of John’s passing. I had the opportunity to serve with him during his 27 years as the CEO of the Heart of Arkansas United Way.

I found John to be compassionate and dedicated to serving members of the community in need or wanting to assist those in need.

I will always remember John for the person he aspired to be.

Also I must not leave out the fact he was quite a spiffy dresser.
