George Peters, 88 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Friday, June 5, 2020 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born on December 16, 1931 in White Deer, Texas to his parents, Albert and Philomenia Peters.

George was a retired Mechanic who loved tinkering with things. He was a United States Marine Corp Veteran serving during the Korean War and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paris.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Philomenia Peters; his wife, Bertha (Binz) Peters; one sister and three brothers.

Survivors include his two daughters, Kathryn Nehus of Paris and Marilyn Martin of Moody, Alabama; one sister, Mary Peters of Paris; two brothers, James Peters of Etna and Jerry Peters of Farmington; one granddaughter, Tiffany Mouada and husband Sam of Fort Smith and three great grandchildren, Samir Mouada, Karim Mouada and Hakim Mouada.

A memorial visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris.

Private burial of cremated remains will be held in Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 50 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
