of Benton, AR

June 4, 1951 - June 4, 2020

Debby Jones, 69, of Benton, went to be with the Lord June 4, 2020. She was born in Little Rock to Eva Holt and the late Alton Holt on June 4, 1951.

Debby was a dedicated Registered Nurse in the Baptist Health-Little Rock Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for 37 years. She spent her career loving each of the hundreds of babies entrusted into her care.

Upon retiring in 2017, Debby found great happiness during her time volunteering at the Benton Pregnancy Resource Center and attending the Arkansas Travelers baseball games. She began pursuing a newfound talent and love of Painting.

She enjoyed traveling with her many beloved friends and co-workers over the years and during retirement.

Debbie was a sweet and caring soul and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her mother, Eva Holt (Benton), her sister, Sherry Martin (Maumelle) and brothers Ed Holt (Karla) of Benton and Paul Holt (Mary) of Delaware, nieces, nephews and many, wonderful friends.

Visitation and funeral services will be held at Roller-Drummond Tuesday, June 9th at 12PM. Please visit their website for times and COVID-19 restrictions and limitations.

Debby and my mom Janie were best friends. Debby was a second mom to me and my brother. We are so saddened to hear of her passing, but we find comfort knowing that Debby and our momma are reunited and are hiking the glorious mountains of Heaven, together again. To Debby's family-we grieve with you for her loss. Praying for peace and comfort in this time.

Mrs. Holt and family,
We know your hearts are broken due to the loss of Debby. We extend to you and your family our sympathy and prayers. We’re asking God to comfort you and your family.

My Dad, Johnnie Radford and I (Gary Radford) worked with A.R. Holt for many years. We shared stories of our families.

Mrs. Holt, Sherry, Ed and Paul, so sorry for your loss. Debby and I had some wonderful times together all the way through school. Think about her often. May the Lord give you peace during this difficult time.

Debby was my long term co-worker, concert-attending, horse racing friend. A kind-hearted, non-judgemental soul, who had a really sly sense of humor. I only got to see her twice since her retirement, but anytime in her company was a complete joy. Her last word to me were, "Let's go to a movie sometime". I wish we had gotten that chance. I'm so blessed to have called Debby a friend. I, among so many of her friends, will miss her tremendously. To the family, my sincere wish is that your grief is tempered by the knowledge that Debby was a bright spot in so many people's lives.
