Linda, Shannon, Nicole, and Casey,
Cynthia & my deepest thoughts & prayers have been with you with James passing.
Since he reached out in his search, I had long, delightful conversations with him, our ‘new’ first cousin, as he relayed his journeys through life & his pride in his family; and became very fond of him in our short time. And his Love for Life was evident, I’m sure among many things, in his Extraordinary talent conveyed through his art Painting. We were truly wowed away when we saw them
I can only imagine your Love & Appreciation for this man are a million-fold. He was a Harris, but I suspect there was a nice bit of Hougas in him as well! I will truly miss our conversations.
Words are never enough, but I know James will never be forgotten by all who knew him.
With Love,
Jay & Cynthia

Linda, Shannon, Nicole, and Casey,
My deepest condolences go out to you at this sorrowful time. I had so much looked forward to meeting my long-lost cousin James, and cherish what I have learned of him in the last 10 months. Our communications had been short, but sweet.
My prayers are with you as you bid Jim/Dad/Grandpa goodbye.

James and Linda are friends dating back about 50 years ago. James an I first met in college James and I enjoyed doing everything together, creating lots of memories and loads of laughter. He enjoyed also the dinners with my parents as well as hunting and fishing trips. James had a way of saying “ohhh nooo” as something was about to happen that wasn’t in our plan. Afterwards he’s grin, lower his head and just shake it side to side Oh gosh there’s so many funny moments like that!
He was so kind to everybody. My sis had bypass surgery at St Vincent’s Nov 3019. Guess who was there to support me all day long as we went thru that tough day. Yes, my good friend Janes W Harris we shared stories of our past! I think I picked one of the best guys around to be a groomsman in my wedding, and the best friend in my life. It’s hard to imagine we won’t see each other again.
At one time years ago ou town was shut down due to a tremendous snow storm. My wife and I walked a mile plus to their house to drink hot chocolate. Those two people are the best in the world. Than cane along Shannon. They made a great family. Thru all these years when Linda would smile it was contagious.
James you’ll be truely missed, my friend. Love you!!!

Shannon, Linda, Nicole & Casey,

James is in heaven now dancing and singing with his mom and dad! He fought the good fight, He finished the race, he kept the faith, now he has his crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge awarded to him TODAY!!! I love you, Ladies, and will pray for you during these next few days and weeks to come. God bless you!!

Love,
Diana
