Sarah F. House, 88, of West Memphis, AR, passed away in her home on Monday, May 25, 2020.

She was born on January 28, 1932, in Slate Springs, MS, to Irby and Connie Patterson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, J. O. ''Buddy'' House; her sister, Kathryn Langston; and her brother Winfred Patterson.

Sarah was a talented player for Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers as a guard. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of West Memphis, and a member of the ''20 Club.'' Sarah was known for being the most loving, giving person you could ever meet. When she wasn't busy loving and doting on her family, Sarah was an avid fan of both the Memphis Tigers and Memphis Grizzlies, and when the games were on, everyone knew not to bother her.

Sarah House was the epitome of unconditional love and a shining example the the kind of woman I have aspired to be. She loved her children and grandchildren beyond all comprehension. I treasure the memories of her great love and forgiveness during my time in the family. I am eternally grateful of all the help along the way she provided for my sons, Ben and Brandon and myself. She will be forever in our hearts and minds and therefore always nearby when we think of her. Fly high Mamaw Sarah. Much love, Nita
