Nora (Dodge) Pitts born April 5, 1925 to Charley and Lamarie (Doke) Dodge in Ozone, Arkansas, passed away May 20, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 49 years James Edgar Pitts, daughter Mary Sue Pledger, three sisters: Ora Belle Tumbleson, Jewel Henderson, and Rosa Mae Galentine ; three brothers: Henry Perry, Buel Perry, and Lloyd Dodge; and five grandchildren.
Nora enjoyed cooking, gardening, and going to yards sales. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children: Wayne Pitts, Glen Pitts, Sharon Johnson, Belinda Harris, Dorman Pitts, Juanita Ragsdale; eleven grandchildren; numerous great and great grandchildren; one brother Enys Dodge; one sister Polly Holben; and a host of other family and friends.
Open Visitation will be 12:00 - 4:00 P.M. Monday, May 25, 2020 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at Hagarville Cemetery.
We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funerals and visitations to 50 people at one time.
