Opal Williams, 99, of Clarksville, died May 10, 2020. She was born October 2, 1920, at Catalpa, Arkansas, to the late William and Martha (Holland) Stepp. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Williams, two sisters: Ola Brandenburg and Rita Fitch; one brother Hoyt Stepp.
Opal was an avid hand quilter, was an Elementary School Teacher till she got married, then she went to work during WWII as Rosie the Riveter and became a Homemaker and tended to farm animals. Opal enjoyed and loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include three sons, Don Williams and wife, Ann, of Clarksville, Terry Williams and wife, Elizabeth, of Monticello, and Jerry Williams and wife, Sheila, of Hagarville; one brother, William B. Stepp of Huntsville, Alabama; seven grandchildren, Jon Williams and wife, Robin, of Clarksville, Jean Ann Kimbriel and husband, Michael, of Clarksville, Jeff Dougan of Clarksville, Heather Lawrence and husband, Marc, of Lamar, Holly Sanderson and husband, Nathan, of Hagarville, Dana Anderson of Little Rock, and Doug Atwood of Little Rock; ten great grandchildren, Skye Goodfox, Preston South and wife, Olivia, J.T. Williams and wife, Addie, Abby Kimbriel, Emily Kimbriel, Kelsey Farris and husband, Steven, Logan Dougan and wife, Amy, Caleb Sanderson, Sawyer Sanderson, Liam Lawrence Cory Mitchel and Aaron Anderson; and ten great great grandchildren, Rylan Fields, Easton Fields, Kamden Moore, Wyatt South, Isaac Farris, Dylan Farris, Joel Farris, Drake Farris.

Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 13, 2020, at Hagarville Cemetery, with Mark Lawrence officiating.
