Betty Jean Gray, 83, of Bono, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at her home. She was born October 12, 1936 in Malden, MO to Earl and Jewell (Caples) Culbertson. Mrs. Gray was a homemaker and a member of Old Enterprise Baptist Church. She was a mama to everyone who knew her and was always happy with a smiling face.
Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carlton Gray; a bother, Douglas Culbertson; a sister, Pat Wilkins and a granddaughter, Samantha Miehl.
Mrs. Gray leaves behind to cherish her memory, one son, Carlton Gray; two daughters, April (Frank) Brauker and Karen (Russell) Hawes; grandchildren, Robert (Erin) Miehl, Christina (Calvin) Newman, Autumn (Hunter) Nelson and Dillion (Kala) McCandless; two great grandchildren, Audrey Miehl and Kaleb Newman; and her faithful companion, Buckey.
Services will be private in accordance to the CDC guidelines due to the Corona virus.

My deepest sympathy to the family. Although I never met Mrs. Gray, I do know her son, Carlton. Since she was his teacher in life, she had to be an amazing lady. Many prayers to all.
Thinking of Aunt Betty always makes me smile. Her and you Dad are together as they always wanted. My thoughts and prayers are will the entire family.
