George "Georgie" Riley Dorrough, 80, a resident of Paris, passed away Monday, April 6, 2020, in Fort Smith.
He was born May 16, 1939, in Paris to the late Riley and Pearl (Frost) Dorrough. Georgie was affiliated with the First Assembly of God in Paris. He was a former city watchman for Paris. Georgie was best known for riding around Paris on his side by side waving and greeting everyone along Highway 22.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Donald Dorrough and two sisters, Laverne Miles and Ruth Green.
Survivors include a brother, Audi Lee Dorrough of El Reno, Oklahoma; twelve nieces and nephews including, Rhonda White of Paris, Sue Green Kramer of Lavaca and Ammeda Green Fimple of Greenwood and numerous great nieces and nephews.
All services are private and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

We knew George most of ours life, we never saw him without a smile on his face. He always a had a good story or joke to tell you. George was always a kind and gentle man. He never met a stranger, that he didn't have time to sit down with to have a conversation. GEORGE You will be missed by your loving family and friends.
