Clifton Griffin, age 93, of Harrison, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2020, at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison. He was born on February 11, 1927, in Snowball, Arkansas, the son of Bozine and Margaret (Bailey) Griffin. Along with his parents, Clifton was preceded in death by his brothers, Tillman Griffin and Glen Griffin; his sister, Madge Griffin; and his nephews, Waylon Griffin and Wayne Griffin.
Clifton had been married to the love of his life, Jannie Mae Griffin, for 65 years. He worked for Flexsteel for 38 years where he was a supervisor. Clifton enjoyed farming, gardening, fishing, hunting, and above all, his family and grandchildren.
Clifton is survived by his wife, Jannie Mae Griffin; his son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Gelica Griffin, of Harrison; his sister, Bernell Arms, of Snowball, Arkansas; Jannie Mae's sister and brother and their spouses, that Clifton loved like his own, Billie and Nolan Brisco and Bob and Margaret Wells, all of Harrison; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Services were private.
Honorary pallbearers were Clifton's Sunday school class of Miracle Lighthouse Church.

Bro Cliffton was a great inspiration to me as a kid and as an adult, if i was preaching anywhere near Harrison, he and Janie always came in support, he will forever be remembered as a great man of God in my eyes, God bless the family as you move through this time of sorrow

I worked with Mr. Griffin at Flexsteel for 5 years, always a good natured and pleasant person to be around. Heaven gained an asset. Prayers go out to his family.

I remember well the times that you and Mr Griffin would stop by our house (Vernon and Shirley Patton) and visit for a bit on your way from checking on your cows and property. I appreciate you all being such good neighbors.

Lots of memories are flooding my mind from the family dinners we had at Clifton and Jannie's over the years. So many of our family are now with Jesus and now Clifton joins them. It's hard to see them go. We are praying for all of you. God bless and comfort you!
