Jimmy Dalton Justus

Jimmy Dalton Justus, age 86 of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on April 6, 2020. He was born December 16, 1933 in Ravenden, Arkansas to the late L.L. and Nettie Justus.

He graduated from Joe T. Robinson High School in 1951 where enjoyed playing on the basketball team. He married Alma Wilkerson in 1953 in Sheridan, Arkansas.

Jimmy was the owner of Justus Floor Covering in Little Rock for many years. He was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church of Mabelvale for over 55 years. He enjoyed playing the guitar with the Golden Agers and his grandson Austin. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially deer hunting, fishing and playing on the church softball team, which he did until he was 58 years old.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Lois Stillman.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Alma of 66 years; daughter, Rhonda (Jerry) Fletcher of Benton; sons, Brent Justus of Conway and Kent Justus of Mt. Vernon; grandchildren, Jordan Fletcher, Austin Fletcher and Taylor Justus; sisters, Verna Henley and Linda Caldwell.

A graveside service will be held at Lost Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Sheridan.
