Rozell Griggs, 87, of West Memphis, AR, passed away on March 28, 2020. He was born on November 1, 1932 in Ashport, Tennessee to Solomon Isaiah Griggs and Alice Mai Dunn.

In 1952, Rozell married his wife, Sarah Griggs and together they enjoyed 67 years together. He owned Grigg's Tire Service from 1969-1996. In 1996, Rozell and Sarah moved to Heber Springs. He came from a musical background and music was his passion. Rozell was the music director at Heber Springs Folklore for 14 years and played the bass while he was there.

Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife, Sarah Griggs; his daughter, Patricia Ann Griggs Smith (David); his sons, Rickey Lynn Griggs (Lisa Cannon) and JR Griggs; his grandchildren, Mel Curtis, Jr., Chris Curtis, Rocky Griggs, Dillon Griggs, Taylor Griggs, Spencer Griggs, David Smith, and Charlie Moore; and twelve great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Solomon Griggs and Alice Mai Dunn; his brothers, Odell Griggs, William Isaiah Griggs, Ezra Griggs, and Leon Cantrell; and his sister, Virginia Poffenberger.
