of Bauxite, AR
August 24, 1948 - March 29, 2020
Theresa Fay Holder Picklesimer, 71, of Bauxite, passed into the loving arms of her Savior and joined the heavenly choir on Sunday, March 29, 2020. She was born August 24, 1948 in Benton to Oscar Frank and Opal Wright Holder.
Theresa was a kind, lovable, outgoing, friendly person who never met a stranger. She played the piano, organ, and sang in church for many years. She was Director of Vacation Bible School and loved children in any setting, but her passion and heartbeat was teaching, which she did for 22 years at Victory Baptist Academy. More of her hobbies included crocheting, coloring books, fishing, camping, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ronnie Lee Holder.
Theresa is survived by her loving husband, David Picklesimer; her sons, Anthony Picklesimer and his wife, Cathy, and Mark Picklesimer and his wife, Jennifer; her three adored grandsons, Matthew Dillon, Jacob Aaron, Joshua Mason, and many other extended family members and friends. She will be missed but her memory will be cherished and her legacy will continue on through those who loved and cared for her.
Graveside Services will be private, and a Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. Interment will be in Fairplay Cemetery in Benton.

Sending prayers up for David and family. Sister Theresa had so much love for yall.
Her work here may be done. But there will be a day when we'll meet again.
She planted so many seeds through her teaching, singing and planning VBS. God only knows how many she lead to Christ.
I'm so thankful I could call her friend.

Against so many hurdles, Sister Theresa embodied the true nature of a Child of God. Having served as her pastor & friends, we would attest to her pure joy in being a child of God
We can share but a small amount of the precious loss that you are experiencing.
God is SO Great. Sis Theresa is with her Savior & we are so thankful to have known her. Social Distancing, Diseases, Churches & members will come & go, but the godlness of a woman like Sis Theresa is rare indeed.
God Bless,

She was a sweet lady. I sang with her sometime at Benton Senior Center and we would swap out playing the keyboard. My sympathy to the family.
She was my kindergarten teacher. She was always so kind, and made learning exciting. I will always remember her love for coffee and singing. She was very loved, and will be missed by us all!
Mrs. Pickle was a good friend. I enjoyed our time together at VBA. My kids (Justin, Cassy, and Rissa) loved her as their teacher. She and Mrs. Susie were the life of the school party. They will never forget her Spanish class! :) You are in my prayers.
Prayers for God's comfort during this difficult time!
You will truly be missed. We will never forget the times we carpooled in that old Ford pickup. You were a great teacher and friend. We love you!
Mrs Theresa made a place in my heart the first time I met her. Her hugs was the best. I told her one time that every time I got a hug it was like I was getting a hug from my Grandma. When they hugged you felt the love. Mr David, you and your family are in my prayers. God has another angel singing up there and I know that it is beautiful.
So sorry to hear this. Your family will be in our prayers for comfort in this sad time!
