Bryce Emerson

of Heber Springs, AR

June 1, 1933 - March 22, 2020

Brother Bryce Emerson looked forward all his life to meeting his Lord and Savior. On March 22, 2020 at 86 years of age, (June 1, 1933) he was called home to be with Jesus surrounded by his beautiful wife Fern, his 3 children and their spouses.

He had a heart full of love and a passion for sharing Christ with others. That passion and his love for Christ, and people, took him on a journey of several decades pastoring churches, and touching hearts and lives everywhere he went. No matter the struggles or obstacles, he never deviated from his faith in Christ and was a constant prayer warrior. He will forever be remembered for this and his amazing strength, his love for life and his contagious laughter. Bryce found joy in everything in his life, from gardening and being on his tractor, to spending time with family.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Archie and Ora Emerson, sisters; Lois Hankins, Syble Berry, Laverne McDonald, brothers; Alvie and Bill Emerson.

He is survived by his loving wife, Fern, of almost 68 years, his children and their spouses, Marvin and Judy, Gary and Lisa, Diane and Ron, seven grandchildren; Jeremy, Kayla, Haley, Isaac, Brian, Jennifer, Savannah, seven great-grandchildren; Hannah, Abby, Canaan, Lily, Taylor, Landon, Brinlea, his brothers; Wayland, Doc and Leon Emerson, many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

A private ceremony with immediate family only, will be held at this time to honor and respect Brother Bryce. A Celebratory Memorial will be held in his honor at a later date pending public health issues. Announcements will be forthcoming via Roller-McNutt Funeral Home website and social media.

The family will receive floral expressions at the funeral home until 9:00 am on Wednesday, March 25, 2020.
