Kenneth Rainbolt, age 81 of Marshall, Arkansas, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 17th, 2020 at Conway Regional Health System in Conway, Arkansas. He was born on March 29th, 1938 to George J. Rainbolt and Blanche Williams Rainbolt.
He was an abstractor who owned and operated two title companies in Searcy County. He began working with the U.S. Park Service during the 1970's; he later worked for and retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Upon retirement he was passionate about farming. He was a true farmer at heart. He enjoyed being outside and working in his garden. He especially cherished the time he spent with his wife, children and grandchildren.
It was a longtime desire of his to be baptized and profess his love for the Lord and his faith in Jesus. The Lord granted that desire and arranged for that to happen on June 10th of 2018 in Bear Creek. The baptism was performed by a dear friend of Kenneth's, Brother Allen Brock, Pastor of the Lord's House of Prayer.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Janet Hubbard Rainbolt of the home; children, Janita King and Dr. Jeff Rainbolt, both of Marshall; two grandchildren, Natalie King of Conway and Caleb King of Marshall; sisters, Lena Pemberton (Darrell) of Marshall and Anna Maze (Albert) of Lowell; two special friends Colton Crain and Destiny Davis; as well as many other family members and friends who will mourn his passing.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, George and Blanche Rainbolt; an infant grandchild, Daniel King; his in-laws, Kenneth Hubbard, Sr. and Edna Barnett Hubbard; and the father of his grandchildren, Anthony King.
Graveside services for Kenneth will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 21st, 2020 at Marshall Memorial Gardens in Marshall, Arkansas with Brother Allen Brock and Brother Shane Horton officiating. Special music will be performed by Karen Ragland and Stan Tilley. Honorary pallbearers will be Caleb King, Colton Crain, Buford Tuell, Mickey "Hoss" Rainbolt, Don Campbell and James Hubbard.
The family would like to offer a very special thank you to those who helped during Kenneth's illness, including Dr. Kamal Patel (Oncologist), Dawn and the staff at CARTI, David, Corey and the staff at the Chemo Lab, Dr. Andrew Henry (Cardiologist), medical team and staff at Arkansas Heart Clinic, doctors, medical team and staff at Conway Regional Health System, Dr. Brian Blair (Family Doctor), Dee and all the staff at Mayflower Medical Clinic, doctors, medical team and staff at Ozark Health Emergency Room in Clinton, Arkansas, and Amy Henry and other staff with NARMC ambulance service.
