Cora Frances (Tennison) Lambie, 92, of Egypt, was caught up in the arms of her Lord on Friday, February 28, 2020. There she met her husband of sixty-seven earthly years, Gerald Lambie.

Born December 22, 1927, to Maggie (Noell) and Floyd Tennison, she was a lifelong educator, teaching in Cash, Tuckerman, Egypt, and finally retiring from Westside School District. Gerald and Frances were responsible breeders of English bulldogs and found loving homes for several of Winston's descendants. She was a faithful member of the Egypt Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister, Louise (Tennison) Pierce.

She is survived by her sister, Ginger Metz; nephew and nieces, Dawn Jarvis, Heidi Patcheak, and Greg Metz, all of California; nephew, Gary Pierce, of New York; and several other loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 W Washington Ave Jonesboro, Wednesday, March 4th at 1:00pm with services following at 2:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Lawrence County Library or your favorite charity.

I have such fond memories of going to Gerald and Frances house when I was a child. She was a very special lady. I know she and Gerald are having a reunion celebration. Pains my heart. So sorry for this loss.,❤️❤️

Mrs. Lambie was a sweet soul and I enjoyed teaching with her at Westside. My prayers are with you as you grieve her loss. I loved hearing her talk; she had a precious voice.
