Paulette Gambill, 75, of Brookland, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born January 30, 1945 in Jonesboro to Mack and Helen Parks McDaniel. She was retired after 27 years from administration at ASU. She was of the Methodist belief and loved crafting and gardening.
Paulette was preceded in death by her parents.
Paulette leaves behind to cherish to her memory, her husband of 16 years, David Gambill; a son, Shane (Anne) Faulkner; two grandchildren, Sydney and Taylor Faulkner; a brother, Mike (Connie) McDaniel; and a sister, Rayva (Gerald) Glidewell.
Funeral services will be 2 pm Sunday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro with Rev. Kathleen McMurray officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland.
Visitation will be 5-7 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
Parks McNair, David Davis, Ethan Edgar, Jeff Edgar, Joe Smith and Jason Fagan will serve as pallbearers.
I was so sorry to hear of Paulettes passing... I haven’t seen her in years but remember the last time.. she had on her overalls and big hat tending her garden and her shop... she was a beauty, inside and out..

So sorry for the loss of Pauletta. Years ago we would see other on ASU campus. She was nice and fun to talk to. We became Facebook friends and kept in touch. She sure loved her family and especially her grandchildren
